Effective date: April 5, 2026. Alon is designed as a calm, offline-first mobile app for daily self-reflection.
This policy explains what information the app stores, what third parties may be involved, and what control you
have over your data.
1. What Alon stores on your device
Alon stores app data locally on your device. This may include your daily question, answers, optional
reflections, selected mood, streak or history data, reminder preferences, onboarding state, and a cached
Alon Plus unlock state.
Alon does not require an account. There is no user profile, no social graph, and no server-side journal
database for your daily entries.
2. Offline-first by default
Alon is built to work offline. Your core reflection data is intended to stay on your device so you can use
the app without creating an account or depending on cloud sync.
3. Analytics and tracking
Alon does not use advertising SDKs and does not use third-party behavioral analytics to track your
reflection activity inside the app. Apple and Google may provide aggregate store analytics related to app
downloads, purchases, and distribution through their own platforms.
4. Purchases and payment handling
Alon Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or
Google Play, depending on your device. Alon may use RevenueCat to validate and manage purchase entitlement
status so the app can recognize whether Alon Plus is unlocked.
Alon does not receive your full payment card details. Billing information is handled by the relevant app
store and any connected purchase infrastructure they provide.
5. Notifications and reminders
If you enable reminders, Alon stores your reminder preference locally on your device and may use operating
system notification services to schedule and deliver those reminders. You can disable reminders from your
device settings or inside the app where available.
6. Third-party services
Depending on platform and build configuration, Alon may rely on the following third parties to support app
distribution and purchases:
- Apple App Store for distribution, payments, and restore purchase flows on iOS.
- Google Play for distribution, payments, and restore purchase flows on Android.
- RevenueCat for purchase entitlement handling related to the one-time Alon Plus unlock.
7. Data deletion and data control
Alon stores data locally on your device and does not require an account or cloud sync.
You can remove your Alon data at any time by deleting the app from your device. If backup or restore tools
are available in the app, you may also use those to manage your data locally.
Because Alon does not maintain user accounts or store app data on a remote server, there is generally no
separate server-side account data to request for deletion.
